Born in Jaipur and raised in a warm Punjabi family, food was Vani’s ultimate love language. She grew up chasing two passions, food and sports. A state-level badminton player, she was full of energy and always on the move.
In college, her entrepreneurial side came alive. She started delivering fresh-cut fruit bowls across hostels and faculty homes, her own little version of Zomato. Helping people eat healthier made her feel alive.
While she cared for others, she hadn’t quite figured out healthy eating for herself. Fatigue, low energy, and gut problems slowly became part of her daily life. A natural hustler, she pushed through, even as she touched obesity during her corporate years.
Gradually, she lost her confidence, and most importantly, her self-respect. She felt embarrassed every time she looked in the mirror. She then tried every fat loss hack out there. Ate very little, eliminated fat from her diet, obsessed over calories, and mostly lived on salads. All of this made her life even worse.
Then, she took matters into her own hands, diving into research papers, global nutrition guidelines, and experimenting with her own diet. Through it all, she discovered a surprisingly simple approach to healthy eating, one that finally worked for her.
Born in Kochi into a family where his father was a professional chef, Rohan grew up surrounded by food. Rich aromas, perfect plating, and bold flavors were part of everyday life. He spent much of his childhood in hotels and in his home kitchen, absorbing it all. Later, he studied food technology and entrepreneurship at NIFTEM and built a career in the packaged food industry. It was on the badminton court in college that he met Vani. For 24 years, he lived in a world full of food and believed he understood it better than anyone else
Despite all this, he stayed skinny, underweight, and most importantly underconfident. He shied away from cameras and avoided gatherings. Rohan hated how he felt about himself. He wanted to look stronger, feel confident, and stop being called a school kid.
While Vani was focused on losing weight, Rohan aimed for the opposite. He tried everything he could find online: long hours at the gym, protein powders, mass gainers, even celery juice.
But nothing really worked. Every small gain seemed to vanish, leaving him back at square one. Frustration built as he struggled to understand why. It all felt too extreme and complicated to stick to.
Finally, he hired a personal nutritionist and spent nine months learning the basics of healthy eating from scratch. In the process, he noticed the same patterns Vani had seen.
All the drama we see around ‘healthy eating’ these days is
too complicated and quite unnecessary

In 2 years, she went from 68kg to 59kg, lost fat, regained her energy, and most importantly, restored her self-respect, all without giving up her beloved Punjabi plates.
It has been 3 years for him. Rohan has gone from 54kg to 65kg, building muscle and confidence. He now feels powerful and ready to take on any challenge life brings.
